The Creand Piam is a life insurance policy with complementary health cover for the part of the cost of medical treatment not reimbursed by the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretet Social (CASS).

Features
- The Creand Piam is aimed at people between the ages of 18 and 55 who are registered as employed or voluntarily insured with the CASS, as well as family members who may be considered their beneficiaries.

- Policies contracted with Creand Vida are valid for a lifetime, with modifications to the guarantees after the age of 65.

- Notifications service: the policy includes this free service that informs the client, via SMS or email, each time a reimbursement is made on their insurance policy.

Medical directory
The policy includes access to a medical directory with coverage throughout Spain and over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres, including centres such as Teknon, Quiron, Dexeus and others.
Health Card – Medical Directory:
- The insured person will have a personal and non-transferable card with which they will be able to access a wide range of medical professionals and centres in the medical directory.
- This card offers the insured person the convenience of not having to pay anything upfront.
- For treatments, diagnostic tests, operations and hospitalisations, it is necessary to request authorisation by telephone in advance: +34 91 590 96 44.
Benefits
- The Creand Piam offers complementary healthcare cover of up to 100% of the real cost that the CASS does not cover, while most complementary medical policies refund a maximum of 100% of the rates payable as defined by the CASS.
- The policy includes complementary cover for homeopathy, speech therapy, orthoptics (visual re-education), acupuncture, psychiatry (limited benefit), osteopathy, chiropractic (up to 200 euros per year and insured person) and many other services.
- For maternity the policy provides for 100% of the actual expense accredited in the case of normal births (maximum 1,000 euros per baby).
- In Caesarean births, the policy provides for 100% cover of the actual expense accredited (maximum 3,000 euros per baby) and up to 5,000 euros for newborn care per baby, in addition to the payment of a fixed benefit per birth (each child) of 150 euros.
- Other cover of interest: optics, dental prostheses and accommodation costs for the patient's companion.
- In the case of illness, injuries, congenital defects or malformations, the policy pays compensation of up to 6,000 euros per insured person during the period for which the policy is in force
- In the case of the serious illnesses included in the policy and up to the age of 65, compensation of up to 10,000 euros is payable.
- Best Doctors, a second medical opinion: this service enables the patient to compare a first diagnosis with the opinion of another doctor anywhere in the world.
- The maximum benefit or compensation per claim is d’1.000.000 euros.
- In the event of the death of the insured (between 18 and 65 years old), the Creand Piam pays the beneficiaries compensation of at least 10,000 euros; in the event of death by accident, 20,000 euros; and in the event of death due to a traffic accident, 30,000 euros.
