Features
- The Creand Piam is aimed at people between the ages of 18 and 55 who are registered as employed or voluntarily insured with the CASS, as well as family members who may be considered their beneficiaries.

- The insurance includes cover for speech therapy, orthoptic treatment (retraining vision), psychiatry, osteopathy and chiropractic treatment.

- The costs of hospitalisation (the part not covered by the CASS) at the Hospital de Nostra Senyora de Meritxell or foreign hospitals that have agreements with the CASS, are processed directly by Creand Vida and the Hospital.

Medical directory
The insurance includes access to a medical directory with coverage throughout Spain and over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres, including centres such as Teknon, Quiron, Dexeus and others.
Health Card – Medical Directory:
- The insured person will have a personal and non-transferable card with which they will be able to access a wide range of medical professionals and centres in the medical directory.
- This card offers the insured person the convenience of not having to pay anything upfront.
- For treatments, diagnostic tests, operations and hospitalisations, it is necessary to request authorisation by telephone in advance: +34 91 590 96 44.
Benefits
- Creand PIAM offers healthcare cover of up to 100% of expenses not covered by Social Security in the event of serious illness, whereas most supplementary medical insurance reimburses a maximum of 90%.
- The insurance includes supplementary cover such as 45 days' psychiatric hospitalisation, direct payment to foreign hospitals that have agreements in place with Social Security, 60% reimbursement for medical expenses not covered by Social Security, and many more.
- For maternity the policy provides for 100% of the actual expense accredited in the case of normal births (maximum 1,000 euros per baby).
- In Caesarean births, the policy provides for 100% cover of the actual expense accredited (maximum 3,000 euros per baby) and up to 5,000 euros for newborn care per baby, in addition to the payment of a fixed benefit per birth (each child) of 150 euros.
- Find Best Doctor: to search for the best doctor to treat any condition you need.
- Other cover of interest: optics, dental prostheses and accommodation costs for the patient's companion.
- In the case of illness, injuries, congenital defects or malformations, the policy pays compensation of up to 6,000 euros per insured person during the period for which the policy is in force
- Best Doctors, a second medical opinion: this service enables the patient to compare a first diagnosis with the opinion of another doctor anywhere in the world.
- Free telemedicine service with access to general practice, paediatrics, psychology, gynaecology, endocrinology, dermatology and virtual physiotherapy.
- The maximum benefit or compensation per claim is d’1.000.000 euros.
- In the event of the death of the insured (between 18 and 65 years old), the Creand Piam pays the beneficiaries compensation of at least 10,000 euros; in the event of death by accident, 20,000 euros; and in the event of death due to a traffic accident, 30,000 euros.
