Medical directory
The policy includes access to a medical directory with coverage throughout Spain and over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres, including centres such as Teknon, Quiron, Dexeus and others.
Health Card – Medical Directory:
- The insured person will have a personal and non-transferable card with which they will be able to access a wide range of medical professionals and centres in the medical directory.
- This card offers the insured person the convenience of not having to pay anything upfront.
- For treatments, diagnostic tests, operations and hospitalisations, it is necessary to request authorisation by telephone in advance: +34 91 590 96 44.
Benefits
- Creand Piam Collective offers a complementary coverage in health care of up to 100% of the actual expenses not charged by CASS, while most of the medical complementary insurances reimburse at most 100% of the liability rates defined by CASS.
- The insurance also includes complementary coverage for homeopathy, speech therapy, orthoptics (eye rehabilitation), psychiatry, osteopathy and chiropractic.
- In maternity, the insurance also provides coverage of normal parts of 100% of the actual accredited expenses (maximum 1,000 euros per person).
- In cesarean deliveries, the insurance provides coverage of 100% of the actual accredited expenses (maximum 3,000 euros per child) and up to 5,000 euros for neonatal care per child, in addition to the payment of a pre-birth indemnity (for each child) of 150 euros.
- In the case of illnesses, injuries, defects or congenital malformations, the insurance pays an indemnity of up to 6,000 euros per insured person for the entire duration of the policy. Other coverage to be highlighted: optical, dental prosthesis and accommodation expenses for the patient's companion.
- In the event of a serious illness, among those contemplated in the policy and up to 65 years of age, the payment of an indemnity of 10,000 euros is contemplated.
- Best Doctors, a second medical opinion: service available to contrast a first diagnosis with a doctor from all over the world.
- The maximum benefits or indemnities per claim are 1,000,000 euros.
- In the event of death of the insured (between 18 and 65 years of age), PIAM Col-lectiu pays the beneficiaries an indemnity of at least 10,000 euros; in the event of death due to an accident, 20,000 euros; and in the event of death due to a traffic accident, 30,000 euros.
